It’s been a busy few weeks here in Canada, finalizing many aspects of the Online content for the 3A Hospitality English Certification program.

…And I thought my work was done when I finished writing the books… ha!

Here’s a sneak peak of some of the features that have been added, with some interactive content for you to test out.

Unit “Key Point” summaries

At the end of a Unit, students will have a unit quiz they can challenge, as well as an interactive key point summary.  It’s cool to be able to use technology to turn a simple bullet-point list into a fun, gamefied column of awesomeness.  Try it out!

 

Instructor’s Guide

After travelling China and getting feedback from teachers, administrators, and our publisher, we have decided to make the Instructor’s guide only available Online.  This will create a more interactive experience for the teacher, as well as be much more environmentally friendly!

The Guide will be laid out in a course format, so Instructors can mark any modules they have completed… well, complete.  This also allows them to start right back up where they left off.

Instructors can use their phones, tablets, or personal computers during class to follow our step by step guide to teaching the course.  We have  designed the system to be 100% mobile ready, so it will work on all devices (we recommend using the “Google Chrome” browser).

Apart from the two new sections above, users will also have access to the following resources depending on their membership level:

  • Community forums
  • Interactive PPTs and videos
  • Games, quizzes, practice
  • “Points” system (Game system.  You gain points for commenting, doing exercises and more!)
  • Social Networking
  • Career center
  • And of course all of our Certification testing components
